Google Webmaster Tool

Google Webmaster tool are essential for any strong SEO effort, it is called as mock pointer. Generally controlled form tools like search console which can sees your site, such as external and internal links to your site, adjust the crawl site at which google bot indexes your site, check the keywords users typed to hand on your site. you can see and check it out country settings, sitemap, crawl errors, bad links, proper links, keywords. Google webmaster tool can add a property website or blog after that verify the html tags. search console verification will allow the webmaster dashboard fetch as google and crawl this url by clicking. google indexing for site you can submit url. you find opportunities to address keyword optimization and duplicate content issues.

Search Queries

The Search Queries section shows the keywords that led users to your site. In the search queries section, you can also see the number of impressions and the number of clicks, which gives you an idea about the CTR for this keyword. CTR means click-through rate , is the percentage of people that are clicking on your site in the search results.

 Links

The second very useful section of Google Webmaster Tools is the Links to Your Site section. Here you can see where your backlinks (internal and external) come from, as well as the pages they are linking to. As with other link checking tools, don't expect that every link to your site is displayed but nevertheless this list of backlinks is useful to check from time to time. One of the advanced uses of the Links section is to disavow links to your site you deem harmful.  Links from bad sites can hurt your rankings.

Crawls Errors

The Crawl Errors section shows the errors Google bot encountered on your site. You also get some other crawl stats (such as the number of pages crawled a day) that are useful to know.

Keywords


Similarly to the Search Queries section that also deals with keywords (but it is the ones users type to get to your site), the Keywords section also shows keywords. The Keywords section also allows to see the theme of your site, which post Panda has become even more important.


SiteMaps


The last section you can access from the Dashboard is the Sitemaps section. Here you see the sitemaps of your site Google has found and the number of URLs in them. If the sitemap found by Google is different from what you expected it to be, you can submit a new sitemap for Google to use.

On Page Optimization



On Page optimization is one of the very first step of seo which every webmaster should look into. Our websites should be colorful and attractive to the users. Websites design and Layout gives the first impression to the users. Keyword optimization is another important fact in SEO. The keyword is a string used to search a user in a Search Engine. Give suitable keywords for the websites.

Snippets


When a user search for a particular keyword google displays some suitable results these results are known as SNIPPETS. A snippet mainly consists of the page title, page URL, Meta tags and date. The page title is most important part of websites; it should be simple and unique. There are 3 or more words in a page title. Generally, capital letters are not used. Title characters should be 55 to 60 , 71 google search characters. Pixel width is 512 and expressive title. don't use same Title , Grammtical mistakes, Focusing keywords .

Meta Tag


A Meta tag is a brief description of the content. It does not appear on the page, but it will display the HTML code.Its length should be in between 155 to 160 characters in web pages and 155 in posts. In 2014 updation blog post date also included in web page , its pixel width is 1024. we can see webmaster tool inside html suggestion dashboards.robots.txt is the robot meta tag on page optimize in no index,no follow , it does not crawl.

Snippet Area

A Better website provides quality information.  Contents should be simple, easy to understand and do not move from the topic always focus on the topic. Unique and fresh information are included in the pages. It became the website more popularity.


Image Optimization


If your site have lot of images, you need to optimize them too as they can't be read by the search engines.

  • Alt text : ALT text or Alternate Text is the text to describe your image when your mouse moves over an image on your web page. The text should be meaningful but short. You can use your relevant keywords as ALT text. If your browser can’t display the image for some reason, the alt text is used in place of that particular image.
  • File name : always use meaningful file name for your images, use names like “apple-iphone-cover.jpg” instead of meaningless “DSC24045.jpg”. Keep image file name same or similar to the ALT text.
  • Image Title : always use the title tag in images which will show the title as tool tip when a user moves his mouse over the image. Example of an image with title tag: [img src=”http://imagelocation.jpg” alt=”Image description” title=”Title of the Image”]
  • Image Linking : Whenever you want to link to your image, use the image keywords in your link text. Example: use “view an Apple iPhone”, instead of “Click here to view” as the anchor text.

Heading tags


Heading tags are used in an appropriative way. There are mainly six sizes of heading tags are there. Main heading is <h1> and the least one is <h6>. heading tags provide a basic structure to websites. We should aware about “nofollow” links. If set a link rel=”nofollow” it means that your site should not pass the equity. <h1> tag is body section to be visible and it contains  maximum  8,9 words meaningful.

Keyword Optimization


Potential Keywords are 2 or 3 words, business relevant keyword and patent trade mark, service mark also checking for logo company. Your site's content needs to be optimized in such a way that it can suit both search engines & your readers. Stuffing Your site with too many keywords can make your site unreadable. so you will need to have some sort of balance between your keywords & your content. 
  • Research : Keyword research terms is relevant keyword, select any particular keyword it should be logic way of thiking. some of personal favorites are : SEObook Keyword Suggestion Tool, Google Adwords  Keyword Tool & Overture Keyword Tool.                                                
  • Keyword Density : Minimum 4 to 5 %, for example 100 words in content 5 % keyword density , if you use more keywords listing will be less .googlebot's  helps useful for users and grey color also useful for focusing keywords.if you use comma, full stop before space give on focusing keywords content inside.

Content Optimization 


If you write keywords first and second sentences for good in content.content volume/quantity natural content keyword . h1, h2 more useful and natural content keyword.  if you write bold on  keywords in sentences , you will get ease on focusing keywords. 

Authorship


Editorial Authorship optimization increase while post website via google plus. Google Authorship is simply the linking of your Google+ profile to the content you publish online. Things like rel=author and rel=me are microformats that may be used by other services.

SEO stands for Search engine optimization. Search Engine Optimization is the process of optimizing web pages or whole websites to make them more friendly and relevant. search engine optimization is a backside process. seo performs several activities such as Crawling, Catching, Indexing. Googlebot is google's web crawling bot. crawling is the process by which document scanning and updated pages to be added to the google index. indexing is the process of adding web pages into google search listing depend upon which meta tag you used (index or no index) google will crawl and index your pages.

Evolution Of Search Engine Optimization


The Evolution of SEO is webmaster tools awareness and spamming, google changes this mechanisms are content spamming or it's called as niche specific and keyword stuffing. keyword stuffing is the no of occurrence of keywords in content. Again google changes this mechanism that is Link specific. google allowed some guidelines to follow terms and conditions. it is defined that page rank is based on the no of links get a website. So people began to buy links from other websites. This will be a big threat to google. Then google introduces another mechanism Quality Link Specific, here google count the quality links. While a website gave the link to another page, Its rank should be decreased automatically. this is Passing Link Juice. In 2003, google developed Adsense program. It allows a website to host advertisement by clicking an advertisement google get profit it is called Cost Per Click. Adsense is google most powerful program.

Google makes user interaction more easily. They introduce suggestions in keywords.Depending upon the user response google demotivating the ranking of websites.if a user leaves a website from the entrance page without interacting with page. google notice it and calculate the Bounce Rate (percentage of single stage session). when a user searches for a keyword and clicks on a result, within seconds user leaves from the page and click on another result that is Pogo sticking. If a lot of Pogo sticking happens a website, google will notice and they will penalize the page. Revisit and Regular visit are main factors improving Page Ranking. In 2010, google introduces social media authority like facebook, twitter, orkut signals part of the google ranking algorithms. After 2010, google makes a web spam team. In 2010 spamming Mattcutts makes strong updation and familar.

In 2011, google creates some update in an algorithm. first update name is Google Panda. It against content spamming. Google panda stops the poor quality websites and vanishes from its top position. Fewer quality contents, Spelling mistakes, Grammatical mistakes, Copy & paste contents, Keyword stuffing are examples of content spamming. So many panda versions are there. In 2014, panda 4.0 is introduced by google. Here google added panda update as a permanent filter.

2.Penguin  Update
Google launched the Penguin update in April 2012. Here google catch the sites, which buy links for boost google rankings. Main link spamming are Link exchanging, Paid link policy like Selling/ Buying links, Link spamming,Link farming affiliate websites, Automate link creation, Wiki spamming, content spamming, Guest blogging, Directory submission....etc.

3.Humming Bird Update
In 2013, google announced another update that is Hummingbird update. Google hummingbird search is Question-based, Conversational, Semantic search....etc. It has updated the page rank algorithm, it uses the intelligent ranking of web pages. Rank brain is advanced version in Artficial Intelligence.

4.Pigeon Update
Google introduced another algorithm update on July 24, 2014, named as Pigeon update. It makes google More user-friendly, Main advantages of this updated are relevant and accurate local search results are provided by Google.

5.Mobilegeddon updates
On April 21, 2015, google released the latest algorithm named Mobilegeddon update. It is a new mobile-friendly ranking algorithm that gives web pages in google mobile search. So all web developer improves the mobile friendliness of web pages.
